Gary Chapman's charity weight loss: Since July this year Gary Chapman has been losing weight in aid of Marie Curie cancer research. Gary hoped to lose 4 stone and reduce his weight from 27st 4lb to 23 st 4lb, tonight witnessed by many people in the club Gary weighed in at 22st 0lb he has lost an outstanding 5st 4lb raisng over £2000 for his chosen charity, anyone who would like to donate further, please contact the club. Gary thanked everyone for their donations to a charity which is very close to his heart and everyone would like to congratulate Gary on his brilliant effort. Gary liked to stress that this is not the end and he has his own goals for further loss in sight, we wish him well. Bankfield House Charity Night: Garston Woodcutters hosted a charity night for Bankfield House in Garston that has been threatened with closure. Local celebrities attended the charity night to show their support for Bankfield House. For pictures of the evening please click here Garston Entertainment Audition Evening: A local entertainment agency,Garston Entertainments ltd, held an audition evening on 30 November 05 for new acts to join their agency. There were 6 acts all together and the evening was well worth attending. Keep an eye out for the following acts, Wired: a boy girl duo. A sister or two goes ABBA: Two excellent female vocalists & ABBA tribute. Midnight Groove: An excellent 5 piece band who are very talented. Ex Garston Lad Tom Clarke: Grandson of Billy and Joyce Clarke, emigrated with his parents as a toddler to Western Australia. Tom, now a teenager has made a name for himself as one of Australia's most promising up and coming surfers with a string of titles to his name, he is currently continuing to contest championship titles across Australia, good luck to Tom and well done for his brilliant achievements so far.
