.I have just found your web page by accident, WOW !  My father was a woodcutting machinest and when he
died at age 67 yrs he'd been a member of his union for 50yrs. I recall he worked at Edwards off Scotland Road for 32 yrs and at other area lumberyards following
that. I'd like to know are there any records anywhere that could tell me of the memberships etc? I know that

Picked up your web site it sounds as though it is going to be a very interesting one  I lived in Allerton attended Saint Francis of Assisi   in Garston  worked at Rootes aircraft in  1939 and 40 Then at Bryant May I left there in 42 to Join the Navy with a couple of friends I lost Contact with Paddy Weadock an d Joe Poland it would be nice to hear from them if they are still around.I also worked at Mortens Foundry after the war then Sefton general hospital moved to Canada in 1957 then to the States in 60  were I am now In  Rochester hills Michigan good luck on the web site I will keep checking it out.
