We will try to post as many photographs as
possible of Artists & Entertainers who have appeared at Garston
Woodcutters. Any Artist, Entertainer, Duo or Group that would like to appear at Garston Woodcutters please contact the concert secretary. Click on the picture to enlarge it. Saturday October 29th 2005: Roscoe, an absolutely fantastic evening with a very very talented comedian/singer, original material. He's been here before & he'll be back again. No questions asked. Sunday October 30th 2005: Sean Hourihan (No Pictures), an excellent Male Vocal Entertainer with the odd gag or two as well, a very good night. Saturday November 12th 2005: "Dug out night", ever year on the Saturday night before Remembrance Day we decorate the concert room in Union Jacks and provide a hot stew, this is our way of remembering our war dead. This year we had 2 brilliant groups on, Scotch on the Rocks and 1984. (Photos on the right) Sunday November 13th 2005:Peter Sarsfield,(no pictures) a talented male vocal entertainer with a variety of material. A very good evening. Saturday December 3rd 2005: Marty Stone, (No pictures) an incredibly funny man, had everyone in fits of laughter. A bit tongue in cheek at times but we are all adults. A good singer as well. A lot of people developed deeper laughter line on this evening. Sunday December 4th 2005: Broadway Nites, (No pictures) a very talented group of performers, they have performed here before and are always asked back again. A brilliant night of entertainment to a packed club. What a weekend !!!! Sunday December 11th 2005: Will Power, A fantastic singer with an impressive range of material, i am sure we will be seeing will back at the woodcutters soon. Saturday December 17th 2005: Connexion, A very good boy/girl duo who both had good voices. Up to date material as well as some older songs. Another good night with top entertainment at Garston Woodcutters.
Saturday December 25th 2005: Derek Jones, A brilliant singer who captured the audience before his act had even started. Derek helped to call back the bingo numbers and even drew our Tote numbers, an absolutely brilliant evening with an absolutely brilliant entertainer, another act that we will definitely see at the Woodcutters again. |
